Presidential Tribunal: Mike Ozekhome reveals next step after Buhari’s victory over Atiku

Mike Ozekhome, SAN, one of the lawyers to the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Atiku Abubakar has said that his client will appeal Wednesday’s ruling of the Presidential Election Tribunal Court.

DAILY POST reported that the tribunal on Wednesday dismissed the petition by Mr Abubakar and his party, PDP in its entirety.

The five-member panel of the tribunal unanimously dismissed the petition, on the ground that the petitioners did not prove them beyond reasonable doubt.

Ozekhome said immediately after the ruling that they would “challenge the ‘misevaluation’ of critical evidence in the judgement.

“That we’re appealing to the Supreme Court is as certain as death.”
