Presidential election results: Atiku wins landslide in Abia

The candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, has been declared winner of last Saturday’s presidential election in Abia state.
He defeated his closest rival, Muhammadu Buhari of the All Progressives Congress, APC, with 134,440 votes
According to results from the 17 local governments of Abia State which were announced on Monday night at the National Collation Centre, Atiku’s PDP scored 219,698, while Buhari’s APC earned 85,058 votes.
Collation of results continues at the International Conference Centre, ICC, Abuja.
