Dr. Harold Demuren
The Director General of the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority, NACA, Dr. Harold Demuren has been removed from office with immediate effect.
DailyPost gathered that President, Goodluck Jonathan approved his removal as the DG of NACA with immediate effect.
The approval is contained in a statement issued on Monday in Abuja and signed by Mr Sam Nwaobasi, the Special media Assistant to the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF).
The statement said the removal followed “a careful consideration of Demuren’s unsatisfactory response to the numerous concernsof stakeholders in the aviation sector”.
The statement did not however say the nature of the pressure, nor indicate the stakeholders involved.
It ended by affirming that Jonathan wished him well in his future endeavours.
