President Jonathan mourns Lam Adesina

President Goodluck Jonathan has commiserated with the family of the former Oyo State Governor, Alhaji Lam Adesina.

The President also sympathized with the government and people of the state.

Adesina, 73, died on Sunday at his residence in Ibadan, the Oyo State Capital.

He had been admitted to the University College Hospital, Ibadan and later transferred to St. Nicholas Hospital, Lagos where he was on admission for weeks, but later discharged.

In a condolence message posted on Twitter, the President’s Special Assistant on New Media, Reno Omokri said “President Goodluck Jonathan is deeply saddened by the passing away of elder statesman and former Governor of Oyo State, Alhaji Lam Adesina.”
