President Jonathan congratulates Governor Oshiomhole on 60th birthday

President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan has congratulated Governor Adams Oshiomhole on the occasion of his 60th birthday, tomorrow, Thursday, April 4, 2013.

In a letter to Governor Oshiomhole, President Jonathan said the Governor had ‘lived a remarkable and eventful life’ in trade unionism, politics and governance at the highest levels, ‘with the common thread of the ideals of unyielding rectitude, selfless service and unwavering commitment to the welfare and well-being of the common man’.

The President said Nigeria needs ‘the recommitment of men and women of goodwill and committed patriots like you in our quest for national transformation and entrenchment of peace and stability’.

President Jonathan said he was confident that Governor Oshiomhole, ‘can always be counted upon to continue to give of yourself in the national interest’, and wished him ‘many more years of God’s abundance and personal fulfillment’.
