President Jonathan approves two new permanent secretaries

President Goodluck Jonathan has approved the appointment of Jamila Shu’ara and Clement Illoh as Permanent Secretaries in the Federal Civil Service.

This was disclosed on Monday, via a statement signed by Tope Ajakaiye, the Director, Press and Public Relations, Office of the Head of Service of the Federation (HOSF).

The statement quoted the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation, Isa Sali, as saying that the appointment of Ms. Shu’ara followed the retirement of the permanent secretary, representing the South-South zone on November 23.

Sail also said that the appointment of Mr. Illoh, which would take effect from January 15 2013, followed the retirement of the permanent secretary, representing Delta State.
