President Muhammadu Buhari is finally back in Nigeria from Germany after attending the G7 Summit.

The president touched down in Abuja at about 12:53am Tuesday morning.

Buhari is expected to meet with the leadership of the All Progressives Congress (APC) to resolve the crisis currently tearing the party apart.

Saharareporters claims that upon his arrival in Abuja, Buhari asked to be briefed about the crisis brewing in the APC over the party’s choice of candidates for the Senate President and Speaker of the House of Representatives.

He is expected to meet with all lawmakers elected on the platform of the APC during an emergency meeting at 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday at the International Conference Center.

Meanwhile, the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) endorsed Bukola for the position of the Senate President.

The party also threw its weight behind Yakubu Dogara for the position of the Speaker of the House of Representatives.
