The presidency has posted a video of Acting President Yemi Osinbajo’s visit to Maiduguri, the Borno State capital, on Thursday.
The short clip was uploaded via their official Twitter page.
It shows Osinbajo’s arrival in the town to flag off a Special Relief Intervention Programme for the North-East.
His media aide, Laolu Akande, also tweeted: “Osinbajo arrives Maiduguri to launch Special Intervention Relief plan that distributes over 30G MT of grains to IDPs in NE quarterly.
“Shehu of Borno’s palace is AgP’s first port of call, where he discloses it’s in heart of President Buhari that FG feeds IDPs.”
Osinbajo arrived the state hours after Boko Haram insurgents attacked some towns in Maiduguri.
