Arsenal manager, Arsene Wenger, has admitted that his side is low on confidence, following their 3-0 defeat to Manchester City in the Premier League on Thursday night.
Wenger however admitted that they “lost against a top quality team”.
Bernado Silva, David Silva and Leroy Sane all scored in the first half, as City went 16 points clear at the top of the table.
“I felt it was a game of top physical intensity. We produced our most physical game of the season and City did as well.
“I must say we lost against a top quality team. The best in the country right now.
“You up go by the stairs and down with the lift. That’s confidence.
“We go through a difficult patch at the moment and that’s part of football unfortunately as well,” Wenger said afterwards.
