Premier League top scorers: Lukaku, Morata, Aguero level as race hots up

Chelsea striker, Alvaro Morata, netted a hat-trick in their 4-0 win over Stoke City on Saturday, bringing his total in the league to six goals.

Morata had scored three Premier League goals, before this weekend’s trip to the Potteries, all of which had been headers. His three strikes against Stoke however came off his boot.

The Spain international who arrived last summer from Real Madrid, is now level with Manchester United’s Romelu Lukaku and Manchester City’s Sergio Aguero.

Lukaku scored the winner for United, in a tough fixture at Southampton. While Aguero was also on the scoresheet, as City thrashed Crystal Palace 5-0 at the Etihad Stadium.

Raheem Sterling (Manchester City) and Jamie Vardy (Leicester City) have five goals each, while Mohamed Salah (Liverpool), Gabriel Jesus (Manchester City) and Harry Kane (Tottenham) all have four.
