Manchester United manager, Jose Mourinho, has said that his team needed to be “organized” and “follow a game plan”, to beat Chelsea on Sunday.
The Red Devils came back from conceding a Willian goal to win 2-1, thanks to goals from Romelu Lukaku and Jesse Lingard.
Mourinho also revealed that they were able to shackle Eden Hazard and hail the quality of Willian.
“We beat a fantastic team. For some reason they played the way they did against Barcelona, they started really well. To beat a very good team you need to be organised. You need a humble spirit where everyone fights and follows a game plan.
“When they hit the post, i was looking to my players and thinking what can we do. They have a fantastic dynamic where they project the wing backs.
“We had a good control of Eden, Willian is an amazing player, in that action he killed us. We had with the progression of the game more and more control.
“Matic was phenomenal, Pogba played a fantastic game for our midfield. I could speak about our defenders too. The mission that Alexis had to be the third attacking player, but also the fourth midfield player. Everyone made a big effort.
“We were more confident in the second half. If someone deserves a victory it’s us,” he told Sky Sports after the game.
