Premier League: Manchester City, Manchester United stay top with wins

Manchester City and Manchester United both picked up their fifth Premier League wins of the season, to stay top of the table.

Pep Guardiola’s men hammered Crystal Palace 5-0 at the Etihad Stadium, with Raheem Sterling scoring twice.

Palace on the other hand, are still seeking their first points and goals of this campaign.

United battled to a 1-0 victory at Southampton, thanks to a Romelu Lukaku’s goal.

Chelsea remain three points back in third after beating Stoke 4-0 at the bet365 Stadium, with Alvaro Morata scoring a hat-trick.

In other fixtures, Tottenham defeated West Ham 3-2, Everton came from behind to see off Bournemouth 2-1 and Watford secured a 2-1 win over Swansea City at the Liberty Stadium.

Burnley and Huddersfield played out a 0-0 draw at Turf Moor.
