Arsenal striker, Alexandre Lacazette, has been ruled out of Saturday’s Premier League clash against Manchester United at the Emirates.
Lacazette, who opened scoring for the Gunners as they thrashed Hudderfield 5-0 on Wednesday, was taken off at half time and replaced by Olivier Giroud.
Speaking after the game, manager Arsene Wenger confirmed that the former Lyon man was not being rested for the United game, but had injured his groin during the first half.
“Lacazette has a groin problem and he will be out certainly for Saturday’s game,” Wenger said.
The Frenchman will now have to decide who starts in the central attacking spot between Giroud and Danny Welbeck.
