Premier League: Iwobi’s goal send Arsenal top as Vardy’s hat-trick sinks Manchester City

Arsenal has gone top of the Premier League for at least 24 hours, after they came from behind to beat Stoke City 3-1 at the Emirates Stadium on Saturday.

Charlie Adams opened scoring from the penalty spot, after Granit Xhaka was adjudged to have fouled Joe Allen in the area.

Theo Walcott equalized just before the break, before further goals from Mesut Ozil and Alex Iwobi in the second half ensured the Gunners went top on goal difference.

Pep Guardiola suffered a second successive loss in the league, after his Manchester City side were beaten 4-2 by champions Leicester City at the King Power Stadium in the last game of the day.

In earlier matches, Watford beat Everton 3-2, Swansea hammered Sunderland 3-0 and Burnley beat Bournemouth 3-2.

Crystal Palace drew 3-3 with Hull City in a thrilling encounter.
