Arsenal manager, Arsene Wenger, has to offload two players this week, after reaching the limit on non-homegrown players.
Alexandre Lacazette’s signing took the Gunners’ quota to 17 foreign players, which is the maximum allowed in any Premier League squad.
This could mean Lucas Perez returning to Deportivo La Coruna, after enduring a frustrating debut season at the Emirates.
It is also understood that defender Mathieu Debuchy, is also likely to miss the club’s pre-season tour to sort out his future. Debuchy has one year left on his current contract and may even be granted a free transfer.
Striker Olivier Giroud is believed to be a target for Everton and West Ham, while the futures of Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil have not been resolved yet.
Wenger is still looking to sign either Leicester City’s Riyad Mahrez or Thomas Lemar from Monaco.
