Manchester City manager, Pep Guardiola, has said that his Arsenal counterpart, Arsene Wenger, will take “the right decision for everyone” as it concerns his future.
Guardiola was speaking after watching his team defeat the Gunners 3-0 for the second time in four days (http://dailypost.ng/2018/03/01/premier-league-table-man-city-thrash-arsenal-3-0-go-16-points-clear-united/).
After the Carabao Cup final, Wenger’s future at the Emirates became the topic for speculation. It is believed the club’s hierarchy have drawn up a list of possible replacements for the Frenchman.
But Guardiola spoke about his admiration for the Arsenal boss and former striker Thierry Henry replacing him as manager.
“He knows my admiration of him. We played many times at Barcelona and Bayern. He knows the club, his players and I’m sure he’ll take the right decision for everyone,” Guardiola said.
When asked if Henry could become Arsenal boss, he replied: “If he wants to be manager he has the talent to do it. But he has to decide, not me.”
