Manchester City boss, Pep Guardiola is convinced Patrick Vieira is ready for Arsenal job.
Vieira has been linked with the Arsenal job after Arsene Wenger announced he will be leaving at the end of the current season.
But Guardiola believes Vieira is ready for the step-up into the big time of Premier League management.
Vieira is currently the head coach of New York City.
The former French midfielder played for Arsenal between 1996 to 2005.
Speaking on Vieira replacing Wenger at Arsenal, Guardiola said, “He is already a top manager. With what has happened there will be a lot of names there. Arsenal will take the best decision for them.
“But of course he is ready. I think all the names will get mentioned and all of them are ready.”
