Arsenal football club have tabled a price for midfielder, Mesut Ozil, ahead of January’s transfer window.
Recall that Manchester United manager, Jose Mourinho is a long-time admirer of Ozil.
Ozil’s Arsenal departure could be sealed in January if a club meets the £30m asking price for the Germany international, According to the Star.
The Gunners will need to be careful in negotiations with the risk of the 29-year-old walking away for nothing next summer.
The playmaker is so confident he will be playing for Manchester United next year.
Robert Pires had hinted that Ozil was unhappy at the club, because of their summer transfer dealings.
“Ozil is a warrior who wants to win something, and currently he makes the impression that he’s annoyed Arsenal have not assembled a squad which can win something,” he told Sport Bild.
“They only spent money on Alexandre Lacazette. That’s not enough to compete for the top spots.”
