Portugal captain, Cristiano Ronaldo, has stated that they can go on and win this year’s European Championship in France.
Ronaldo scored one and laid on one assist, as they beat Wales 2-0 in their semi-final clash on Wednesday, to qualify for the final where they will face either Germany or hosts France.
Speaking after the match, the 31-year-old said: “We had difficult moments, but it’s better to start poorly and have a positive ending.
“My dream is to win a trophy with Portugal. We are closer to doing it and I believe that we will win.”
