One Apostle Lawrence Eleru has been kidnapped by unknown gunmen around Eleme Local Government Area of Rivers State.
DAILY POST gathered that Apostle Eleru who is the General Overseer of Kingdom People’s Church located around Ebubu, within Eleme area was abducted at gunpoint on his way from church’s weekly activities.
A close relative, who identified himself as Chikordi Amadi confirmed the incident to DAILY POST, saying no contact have been established between the suspected kidnappers and the family members.
Amadi said the family members are worried since they recovered a Honda Car owned by the victim burnt down just as he called on the security agencies to help ensure unconditional release of their brother.
Apostle Lawrence Eleru hails from Isiokpo community in Ikwerre Local Government Area but resides around Ebubu community in Eleme Local Government Area of Rivers state where his church is also situated.
