Popular Kannywood actress, Aisha Dankano is dead

The Hausa movie industry was Tuesday thrown into mourning after popular Kannywood actress, Aisha Dankano gave up the ghost.

The deceased, popularly called Sima and believed to be below 40 years of age, died in her house in Gwammaja area of Kano State at about 2pm.

She died after a brief illness and has been buried according to Islamic rites.
