Plateau State Police Command on Wednesday paraded 3 suspects for alleged rape of a 14 year old girl, Basima.
Commissioner of Police, Undie Adie, recalled that the matter was reported on January 26, 2018, at Anguwan Rogo Police Division, by the victim’s mother, Zainab Mohammed.
He said: “On the 23 January, 2018, at about 13:00 hours, one Suleiman Usman age 18 years, Umar Aliyu age 18 years and Usman Bala 20 years, all of Anguwan Rogo, Jos, conspired with one Yahaya alias Kenza surname unknown, now at large.
“They lured the girl into a house at the aforementioned address and drugged her.
“When she became unconscious and out of her senses, she was raped by the suspects.”
The Police Commissioner added that the suspects have confessed to the crime.
He said the matter will be transferred to the CID for indepth investigation and prosecution.
