Police launch manhunt on kidnappers of colleagues in Rivers

The Rivers state Police Command said it has launched a manhunt for two of its officers kidnapped in Andoni Local Government Area.

Reports had it that gunmen abducted two policemen in Ngo community of Andoni Local Government Area of the state.

The policemen were said to have been taken away to an unknown destination.

When contacted, Spokesman of the Command, DSP Nnamdi Omoni in a text message said, “I can confirm the incident and we have launched a manhunt.”
