Police gun down notorious armed robber in Delta community

Officers and men of the Nigeria Police Force, NPF in collaboration with Igbodo community vigilante in Ika North East Local Government Area of Delta State in the early hours of today gunned down a notorious armed robber, simply identified as “Chopping” with a member of his gang in their attempts to attack and rob a Dangote trailer loaded with cement.

DAILY POST reports that the police also recovered some locally made guns from the deceased suspects at the scene of crime.

Contacted, the Delta State Commissioner of Police, CP Muhammad Mustafa said,”It is confirmed.”

CP Mustafa added,” Guns and armunition were recovered from the notorious armed robber. ”

“Chopping” had allegedly terrorized and robbed indigenes of the community mercilessly before he met his Waterloo today.
