Armed policemen of the Kaduna State Police Command has escorted former Zamfara State Governor and serving Senator, Alhaji Ahmed Sani Yariman Bakura out of Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria, Kaduna.

The former governor was participating  in a weekly two-hour Hausa vernacular programme, Hannu da Yauwa run by the 50-year old radio established by late Premier of Northern Nigeria, Sir Ahmadu Bello.

The spokesman  of the police, DSP Aminu Lawan denied that the lawmaker was arrested, instead he said, Sani was only escorted out of the station, for reasons he will not disclose to Saharareporters.

Police sources in Kaduna said, he was questioned in relation to a threat the former governor made during the show when a caller asked what will happen if the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) refuses to register newly formed political party All Progressives Congress (APC).
