Police Confirm 47 dead, 79 injured in Potiskum school suicide bombing.

The Nigeria Police Force has confirmed this morning’s suicide bombing at a secondary school in Potiskum, Yobe State.

The Police confirmed this via its twitter handle @PoliceNG. It also confirmed that 47 people died while 79 others were injured.

The tweet says: “10NOV 7:45AM Suicide bomber disguised as student blew self at Assembly ground Govt Science Sec Sch Potiskum #Yobe, 47 dead, 79 injured …1/2”

DailyPost recalls that a suicide bomber, who disguised as a student, this morning, blew up himself on the assembly ground of Government Science Secondary School, Potiskum, Yobe State.

A suicide bomber had less than two weeks ago blew up himself during a procession by Shiite Muslims in the same town, Potiskum. About 27 died in the incident.
