After several calls, the Delta State Acting Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Andrew Aniamaka told DAILY POST Delta State Correspondent that it was the youths of the area that blocked the road and not police as reported. He said the youth blocked the highway in protest of the killing of one Udoka Ossisa who was allegedly killed by unknown persons yesterday.
The image maker also stated that the death of Udoka Ossai angered the youths who according him are pointing accusing fingers at the rampaging Fulani herdsmen in the area, stressing, “Not that police battled with Fulani herdsmen.”
