The Delta State Police Command has arrested two suspected kidnappers, Bullus Omobare – aka “Omonas” ‘m’, 35yrs, Daniel Akare ‘m’, 37yrs for alleged conspiracy and kidnapping of two women, Martina Waka and Okoiruele Abimbola at different locations at about 1700hrs to 1800hrs, in Warri on 13/11/2017.
This is contained in a statement signed by the Delta State Acting Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Andrew Aniamaka.
He stated that the arrests of the suspects followed complaints by one Mr. Clark Waka and Mr. Okoirude Osazuwa at Ovwian Police Station.
According to the statement,” Operatives of Eagle Net Special Squad arrested one Bullus Omobare alias “Omonas” who also indicted Daniel Akare alias “Ogbolor”.
“The arrest of the two suspects put pressure on their cohorts to release the victims unhurt without payment of ransom”.
He stressed that investigation is ongoing.
