Police arrests suspected killer of Magistrate Remi Ogu

Imo State police command has announced the arrest of one Friday Nnaekezie suspected to be the mastermind and killer of Late Magistrate Remi Ogu of Magistrate of Oru West Magistrate Court in Imo State.
He hails from Oru west LGA of Imo.
Commissioner of Police, Dasuki Galadanchi, in Owerri said the suspect paid the sum of N500,000 to 3 hired killers from Lagos who carried out the dastardly act.
He disclosed that the suspect has helped the police with some information and the command is on the trail of the others.
Magistrate Remi Ogu was kidnapped and killed in November 2018.
The incident led to protest by Imo State chapter of the Nigeria Bar Association (NBA).
