Police arrest man for raping three year-old girl

Police command  in Zamfara State has arrested a man, Amiru Musa, for allegedly raping two three year old girls.

The suspect, who the police said resides at Hayin Dan Hausa quarters in Gusau, was apprehended around 1pm on Monday, after allegedly committing the crime.A statement issued by the command’s Public Relations Officer, ASP Sanusi Amiru, said, “The suspect, on the same date, took the girls, who are both 3 years old to a house and raped them.”

The police spokesperson added that the case is still under investigation.

He further said that the command is also investigating one Chukwuma Obi of Sabon Hanya Tudun Wada Gusau over alleged rape, theft and criminal intimidation.
