Police arrest 2 teenages for kidnapping, raping of 19-year-old school girl in Bauchi

The Bauchi State Police Command, has arrested two teenagers for allegedly kidnapping and raping a 16-year old schoolgirl in the state.

The teenagers identified as Mahmud Abdullahi, 18, and Abdullahi Mohammed, 19, were said to have abducted the girl while on her way to school and took her to a mountain in GRA, Bauchi, where they allegedly raped her.

Public Relations Officer of the state Command, Haruna Mohammed, in a statement he issued disclosed that the boys were arrested over the weekend.

The statement reads in part, “On May 26, at about 08:00hrs, following intelligence report, police detectives attached to the state’s anti-kidnapping unit, Bauchi, arrested the following syndicate: Mahmud Abdullahi, male (18), and Abdullahi Mohammed, male (19), all from Bauchi town.”
