The Ovwian Police Divisional Headquarters has allegedly forced the traditional ruler of Orhunwhorhun Kingdom in Udu Local Government Area of Delta State, HRH. (Hon.) Okaka X. Sam Mukoro into exile for allegedly sponsoring cult related and criminal activities in the area, DAILY POST can exclusively report.

This is coming days after a member of the Orhunwhorhun vigilante simply identified as Ghetto shot dead a youth in a hotel in the Kingdom.

DAILY POST gathered that the monarch has been on exile for about a month and his whereabouts unknown.

The Divisional Police Officer of Ovwian Divisional Police Headquarter, CSP Jonathan Acha who spoke with DAILY POST in his Office confirmed the report, noting that,” the traditional ruler has been responsible for the cult matters we have in Orhunwhorhun. We invited him but he refused to honour our calls and so, we went after him. Since then, we have not seen him,” noting that the police will do the needful whenever HRH. Mukoro is seen.

As at the time of filing this report, the monarch and his chiefs could not be reached for comments on the matter.
