Poland captain, Robert Lewandowski, has revealed what referee Michael Oliver told him after awarding controversial penalty to Victor Moses in Super Eagles 1-0 win over his side on Friday.
The Bayern Munich point-man said that the referee made a mistake by awarding the penalty.
Moses calmly converted the spot kick to give Nigeria a 1-0 win.
But speaking after the match, Lewandowski said, ”I think that Nigeria did not create too many chances.
“It was the penalty incident, which probably was not.
”The referee told me that he whistled because he saw the reaction of Kamyk ( Marcin Kamiński).”
Nigeria’s next match is against another European side, Serbia in London.
