The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has raised the alarm ovet the sale of fake Super Eagles jerseys.
According to a tweet posted on Friday afternoon, the original kits are not available to the public yet.
“Our new 2018 kit by @Nike are not yet available on sale. As soon as they are, we will let you know.
“Everything currently being advertised and sold now is fake. Support the Super Eagles, buy original,” the update read.
Nike unveiled the jerseys Nigeria will wear at this year’s World Cup last month at a ceremony in London, UK.
The sportswear giants drew inspiration from he Super Eagles jersey to the 1995 King Fahd Cup – now known as FIFA Confederations Cup.
Nigeria is expected to wear them for the five friendly Gamez they will play ahead of the World Cup, starting with tonight’s match against Poland.
