Paul Pogba will ask Manchester United to let him leave the club before they depart for their pre-season tour of Australia, Mundo Deportivo reports.
Pogba’s future at United is uncertain, with the midfielder having made it clear that he wants a new challenge.
Real Madrid and his former club Juventus are both interested in signing the Frenchman and are waiting for him to hand in a transfer request at Old Trafford.
Even if Pogba doesn’t submit a transfer request, Real will still press ahead with their attempts to sign him.
Juventus are also interested in Pogba who played for them between 2012 and 2016.
United are set to leave for Australia on Sunday and will face Perth Glory on July 13 before taking on Leeds four days later.
