Paul Pogba has signed a new deal that will keep him at Juventus until 2019.
The France international, has become one of the most sought after young footballers on the planet after leaving Manchester United two years.
His performances have caught the eye of big European teams like Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain, but the 21-year-old has chosen to stay in Turin.
“This morning we agreed the renewal of Paul Pogba, who will be tied to Juventus until 2019,” Club CEO Giuseppe Marotta told shareholders at Friday’s meeting.
Pogba’s agent Mino Raiola, had previously hinted that the midfielder was close to agreeing fresh terms with the Serie A champions.
“Yes, we met with Giuseppe Marotta and together we decided to renew Paul’s deal,” Raiola told Tuttosport.
“Now is the time to get it done, we’re delighted that this situation has presented itself.”
