Pogba ruled out until May

Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba, will not feature for the Serie A champions until May.

The 22-year-old picked up a hamstring injury, during their 3-0 win over Borussia Dortmund in the UEFA Champions League round of 16 tie on Wednesday.

This news comes as a big blow to the Biaconceri, who are currently 14 points clear at the top of the league and are still competing for the Champions League and Coppa Italia.

“Paul Pogba, who was brought off during the first half of Dortmund-Juventus, has been medically examined,” a statement on the club’s website read.

“Magnetic resonance imaging confirmed the initial suspicion of a second-degree injury to Pogba’s right hamstring. The recovery schedule for the midfielder is due to take 50 days”, it added.
