Paul Pogba was taken off in the first half of Manchester United’s Europa League game against Fenerbahce, with an injury to his right leg.
The France midfielder, who cost the Red Devils a world-record fee last summer, appeared to have suffered a dead leg after clashing with a Fener player.
He was replaced by Zlatan Ibrahimovic in the 28th minute of the encounter, which meant Wayne Rooney moved into central midfield.
Pogba is likely to be a doubt for Sunday’s trip to Swansea in the Premier League, a fixture Ander Herrera will miss through suspension.
United are already without Antonio Valencia and Eric Bailly, although Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Phil Jones are both back in the squad.
