Pogba is the best midfielder in the world – Mourinho

Manchester United manager, Jose Mourinho, has hailed Paul Pogba as the best midfielder in the world.

The Portuguese was speaking after their 3-1 win over Sunderland at Old Trafford on Monday.

Daley Blind, Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Zlatan Ibrahimovic scored for United, as they romped to a Boxing Day win.

Pogba nearly provided United with the lead in the 27th minute following a one-two with Jesse Lingard, but his effort went wide.

His overall contribution was enough to earn praise from his manager afterwards.

“He is the best midfielder in the world,” Mourinho simply said.
