Manchester United manager, Jose Mourinho, has hit back at the “lies” being spread regarding a breakdown in his relationship with Paul Pogba.
However, Mourinho admits that Pogba has not been playing well in the last few matches.
“When you say ‘a lot of speculation’ you should say a lot of lies.
“Because I accept and Paul accepts that he has not been playing well in the last few matches. But that’s all,” he told reporters on Friday.
According to French outlet, L’Equipe, Pogba’s relationship with Mourinho at the moment is “difficult”.
The midfielder was substituted off during United’s 1-0 defeat at Newcastle last weekend.
It is the second time in three games Pogba has been taken off by Mourinho.
