The immediate past governor of Plateau State and Senator representing Plateau North, Jonah Jang on Monday stated that the Governor Simon Lalong-led APC administration would only spend one tenure in office because the people of the state will vote him out come 2019.
Jang disclosed this during a constituency outreach empowerment programme organised by the member representing Barkin Ladi/Riyom Federal constituency Hon. Istifanus Gyang.
“The People of Plateau have decided to vote the PDP in 2019 and would vote against Governor Lalong if he decides to contest,” he said.
He lamented the current hardship being witness in the country, calling on the people of the state to vote the APC out of power come 2019.
The ex-governor called on members of the PDP to unite and work towards the victory of the party in the 2019 general elections.
He said during his first tenure he was not traveling abroad like the present governor is doing, “but as it is in Plateau now, the governor has traveled abroad so many times all in the name of bringing in investors, where are the investors?” he queried.
Also speaking at the event, the PDP Chairman in the State, Hon. Damishi Sango cautioned party members not to be involved in anti-party activities.
He lamented the recent decamping of some members of the party to the APC in the State.
