The ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, in Plateau State has won 14 out of the 24 seats in the State House of Assembly, while the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, won 8 seats.
The APC won in Bokkos, Wase, Shendam, Pankshin North, Pankshin South, Mangu North, Kanke, it also won in Dengi and Kantana constituencies of Kanam LGA.
Others were Mikang, Jos East, Jo’s North-North, Quaan Pan South and Quasn Pan North and Pengana.
The main opposition PDP won in Riyom, Jos North-West, Jos South, Langtang North-North and Langtang North-Central.
Others included Mangu South and Irigwe-Rukuba.
All the aforementioned were announced at their various Local Government collation centres.
Meanwhile, there will be supplementary elections in Langtang South and a bye-election in Pengana following the death of its elected member, Hon. Ezekiel Affon.
