Former Super Eagles goalkeeper, Peterside Idah, has said that the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), must take the blame for the country’s failure to reach the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations in Gabon.
Nigeria lost 1-0 to the Pharoahs of Egypt in the return leg match of the 2017 AFCON qualifying series on Tuesday in Alexandria.
The result means that the North Africans now lead Group G with five points, with only one round of matches left.
Idah says the Amaju Pinnick-led NFF failed to motivate both their staff and the players properly.
“The NFF must quit now. They cost us this Nations Cup. Just pay your workers and we won’t have these problems,” Idah wrote on his Facebook wall.
