Pinnick laughs off Keshi’s N1billion compensation claim

President of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), Amaju Pinnick, has said he is not concerned about the law suit instituted by former coach of the Super Eagles, Stephen Keshi.

The Big Boss is demanding a compensation of N1billion from the NFF, for what he termed “wrongful dismissal and defamation”.

Pinnick said the NFF was not concerned about the case, as its legal department was more than able to deal with the situation.

“Accordingly, the legal department of the Nigeria Football Federation has responded to the letter. We have a lot of things to bother ourselves about,” he told Goal.

He also added that he was only interested in programmes that would move Nigerian football forward.

“So, we are thinking of taking Nigerian football forward and we are not thinking of going back. That is exactly what we are doing,” Pinnick added.

“Our concern is strictly Nigerian football and how to better what we met. We are not thinking of dragging into something that we know at this point does not hold water.

“So, our lawyers have looked at it and have responded accordingly. We have a very good legal team and they have responded. The response is based on the fact of what they saw. That is what I can tell you about the matter for now.” .
