President of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), Amaju Pinnick, has compared new Super Eagles boss Sunday Oliseh, to Bayern Munich manager, Pep Guardiola.
Oliseh was unveiled on Wednesday and has penned a three-year contract to replace Stephen Keshi.
During his presentation to the media in Abuja, Pinnick stated: “Today is another historic day in the history of Nigeria football. Today we have been able to present the Pep Guardiola of Africa.
“I can assure you that we are going to have one of the best coaches Nigeria ever had.
“As a member of the FIFA technical study group, he is vastly travelled and trained.”
Like Oliseh, Guardiila was also not very experienced when he took over Barcelona’s senior team in 2008.
But the Spaniard won the La Liga and UEFA Champions League titles in his first season and has gone to be successful in his coaching career. .
