President of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), Amaju Pinnick, has said that the Super Eagles will qualify for the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia.

The former Delta State FA chairman, stated his dream is to see the former African champions, make it into the last four of the competition.

“We have a good coach and the best set of players in Africa, and I believe these two factors will help us qualify for Russia 2018,” Pinnick said.

“My dream is not just to qualify for the World Cup but to reach the last four of the tournament.

Pinnick also insisted that the lack of funds, will not affect the Eagles’ chances of picking a World Cup ticket.

“We don’t have all the funds we needed right now but I’m sure the team is currently in a good hands,” he added.

Nigeria begin their quest to qualify for the 2018 World Cup, with an away game against Zambia on October 9 in Ndola.
