The State Security Service, SSS, on Tuesday in Abuja paraded six men accused of abducting Nollywood Actress, Sylvanus Nkiru and former Mr Nigeria, Kenneth Okoli
The duo were kidnapped in Owerri, the Imo state capital on December 15, 2012.
Sylvanus is a special assistant on public relations to the Imo State Governor, Rochas Okorocha. The suspects made a ransom demand of N100 million from the state government for her release.
Sources say an unspecified ransom was eventually paid but that it was a deliberate plot by the the actress’ family and security agencies to trap the kidnappers.
