Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho left the Emirates Stadium yesterday, with a ticket to the last eight of the Capital One Cup and Mesut Ozil’s shirt.
Ozil, who signed for Arsenal in a £42.5million deal, was a second-half substitute, as the Gunners were dumped out of the competition, but showed that he still shared a bond with his former coach.
The German playmaker revealed that Mourinho sent him a ‘Welcome to London’ message when he completed his move from Madrid to Arsenal in August.
