The ongoing protest in the University of Port Harcourt, UNIPORT, has reportedly taken another dimension as inferno resulting from the protest has left some persons critically wounded.
The students are protesting a new hike in school fees and other levies.
Blocking all entry and exit points in the institution, billboards, tyres among other items were set ablaze, causing thick gray smoke billowing into the sky.
Some casualties have reportedly been recorded in the protest which started as early as 5a.m on Monday.
