PHOTONEWS: NLC kicks against increased electric tariff in Abuja

Commercial activities in Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory were on Monday shut down following a peaceful protest by the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) against the nationwide increment in electricity tariff.

The protesters matched to the Abuja Electricity Distribution Company (AEDC) headquarters at zone 4 Wuse, before proceeding to NERC office. See photos below:
